Love the shark but I wonder what you think of the Clinton team's disciplined campaign?

You don't let up on the poor woman do you? Nor did you cut her wandering husband much slack either!

Seriously, do you believe she is not running a disciplined campaign? It seems to me like they are being very careful indeed. In fact a might too careful.

Hey, sorry, they was just kidding, cheeeerist!!

Let's be clear I was indifferent to Bill's wanderin' it's his lying and willingness to destroy anyone's reputation to spare his own that I object to.

OK. Have you considered urging your boy Ralph to run again?

Nah, I just needed to point out how your girl's roided up campaign seems to be hurtlingly bipolar.

I had lunch with a good Republican friend today, and we couldn't sort it out either. Nor anything else in the race. Neither Giuliani's (baffling to me) rise, nor Thompson's stunningly anemic campaign (the only thing not anemic being his Mrs.), nor Edwards mystifying 3rd place, nor McCain's moribund campaign, nor Obama's often weak performances and his apparent inability to play Hardball, nor Bill Richardson's pathetic performance so far (when on the surface being perhaps the best qualified), nor the rest of it. The one thing we did agree upon was the amazing rise of Mike Huckabee, and we pondered whether that rise is a Howard Dean-style supernova, or a Bill Clinton come from behind for the sweep ala 1992 surge...

Yeah, the Huck is having an amazing run now how will that Jesus is just all right with me plays beyond Iowa and S. Carolina? The flinty Yankees are going to elbow him aside. He definetly effs up Mitt's chances to squash Rudy early.

You know I have been following Obama pretty closely. I attended the Apollo rally and have watched speeches and the foreign policy forum he led in NH. I think his overall performance is anything but weak. Admittedly in those 30-60 "debate" spats he can seem really uncomfortable but his speaches continue to inspire and in settings that ask for fuller answers and thinking he can be very impressive. In the hardball scrapes with Hillary I think his team is winning hands down because she seams to be cracking while he appears unflappable. Oh, and Bill is not helping her a bit. Not that he can't but it's been an ugly few weeks for them.

I know the babe factor is always of critical importance for you when evaluating a campaign's merits. Have you checked out Samantha Powers? Now that's one fine Pulitizer Prize winning Prof. Admit it, you're hot for teacher and not for Senator school marm.

I will not quibble with either Samantha's brains or looks...

She just signed up for the wrong squad.

tee hee.
