Poem: You Rehearse Dying

You Rehearse Dying

It's not "all good,"
But closer than you think.

Everything you refuse to believe
Is true

Love and mercy and goodness
Fill the air

You look and listen and feel it
But you won't believe

Blue sparks arc in the air
Leaving a trail of ozone

The man in the moon
Is psychotic

Mother Earth
Had a sex change

Every flower is finished

The rising water

Is up to your knees.
